German Flooring™ Storage and Pickup Terms and Conditions

Please review these Storage and Pickup Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully, as they govern orders placed for pickup, storage, and handling of merchandise from German Flooring™.

Courtesy Storage

German Flooring™ offers complimentary storage for purchased items for up to 7 days from the date of purchase. After the initial 7 days, a storage fee of $10 per day will be charged until the order is fully picked up. Storage fees must be paid in full before items are released.

In-Store Purchases

An original purchase receipt is required at the time of pickup. Merchandise will only be released to the purchaser or an authorized individual whose name you have provided at the time of purchase. Authorized individuals must present a valid government-issued photo ID, from which German Flooring™ may record information for security purposes. The purchaser assumes responsibility for the actions of any authorized person collecting merchandise.

Online Purchases

For online orders, you must present the following at pickup:

  • Online sales receipt

  • Valid photo ID

  • Credit card used for the online purchase

If someone else is picking up your online order, you must provide their details when placing the order. The authorized person must present the same verification items listed above.

Loading and Transportation

Customers picking up merchandise are responsible for providing a suitable vehicle for transport and ensuring the safe loading and securing of all merchandise. While German Flooring™ staff may assist in loading merchandise, customers must notify staff immediately if the load appears unsafe or excessive for the vehicle. German Flooring™ reserves the right to refuse loading assistance for safety reasons. German Flooring™ is not liable for any damages to vehicles or merchandise resulting from loading or transport. Customers must stay at a safe distance (minimum ten feet) from loading equipment or machinery. By picking up merchandise, you assume full responsibility and release German Flooring™ from liability for any damage or injury resulting from loading or transporting your merchandise.

Product Verification

Customers must inspect all merchandise carefully at the time of pickup to ensure accuracy in product type, color, model number, quantity, and condition. Notify the store manager immediately of any discrepancies. By signing the pickup receipt, you acknowledge that your order is accurate and complete. German Flooring™ will not be responsible for discrepancies identified after merchandise has left the premises.

Communication Consent

By placing an order, you consent to receiving communications from German Flooring™ regarding your order’s status or pickup via email, text messages, automated phone calls, or other communication methods you have provided.

Curbside Pickup and SMS Program

By initiating curbside pickup via text message, you consent to receiving SMS messages related to your order. You may stop these messages at any time by texting “STOP” or resume by texting us again. Message and data rates may apply.

Informal Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising under these Terms must initially undergo informal negotiation. Submit written details of your dispute, including relevant documentation, to German Flooring™ at:

You must allow up to 30 days for a response to your notice. This informal process must be completed before proceeding with formal legal actions.

Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution will be conducted on an individual basis, and you expressly waive any right to participate in class-action or collective actions.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any unresolved disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Sacramento County, California.
